The town council had
a special meeting to go over the Supervisor and the Clerks Books. The town
board did approve the records of the Supervisor and Clerks books. A Financial Report for December 31, 2017
was given to all
board members.
At 6:30pm all parties rose to say
the Pledge of Allegiance.
RESOLUTION
#51-2019 Appoint Planning Board
Member
WHEREAS, there was a vacancy on the Town
Of Pinckney Planning Board,
WHEREAS, Donald Labarge was interviewed by the town of Pinckney board and found
to be knowledgeable in land use law
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Donald Labarge be appointed as a member
of the Town of Pinckney Planning Board effective immediately.
A motion to accept Resolution
#51-2018 was made by Councilman Bob Amidon and seconded by Councilman Mike
Birchenough. The Poll of the board was
Yea.
RESOLUTION #52-2018 Adoption of Local Law #1 of 2018 Amendment to
Zoning Law
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of
Pinckney, New York is interested in amending the Town of Pinckney Zoning Law;
and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has evaluated the legislation in light of the State
Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR) and has issued a “negative declaration”
under SEQR; and
WHEREAS, the proposed legislation has been provided to the Lewis County Planning
Department for review pursuant to NY General Municipal Law 239-m and the Town Board had received, and
reviewed, those comments; and
WHEREAS,
the Town Board has
determined to proceed with legislation to amend the Town of Pinckney Zoning
Law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the
Town Board of the Town of Pinckney, New York that:

The Town Board hereby enacts Local Law #1 of
2018 and which is intended to amend the Town of Pinckney Zoning Law.

The Supervisor for the Town of Pinckney and Town
Clerk for the Town of Pinckney, their respective agents and employees are
authorized to sign all documents and take all steps necessary to enact the
legislation.

This resolution shall take effect immediately.
The foregoing Resolution was offered by Board Member Don Vincent, and
seconded by Board Member, Dan Pearson and upon roll call vote of the board was
duly adopted as follow:

RESOLUTION #53-2018 Clerk Audit
WHEREAS, THE Town of Pinckney did audit and examine said records by Town Clerk
Dorothea Pearson for the fiscal year January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 and
at an annual audit held January 25, 2018; and,
WHEREAS, the town of Pinckney town board
did approve said records of Clerk Dorothea Pearson as submitted on January 25,
2018
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the town board of the Town of Pinckney does
hereby accept the books of Clerk Dorothea Pearson and adopts resolution #53 of
2018.
And moves its
adoption
A motion to accept Resolution #53-2018
was made by Councilman Bob Amidon and seconded by Councilman Mike
Birchenough. Poll of the Board was Aye.
RESOLUTION #54-2018 Supervisor Audit
WHEREAS, THE Town of Pinckney did audit
and examine said records by Town Supervisor Sherry Harmych for the fiscal year
January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 and at an annual audit held January 25,
2018; and,
WHEREAS, the town of Pinckney town board
did approve said records of Supervisor Harmych as submitted on January 25, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the town board of the Town of Pinckney does
hereby accept the books of Supervisor Harmych and adopts Resolution #54-2018.
And moves it adoption
A motion to Accept Resolution
#54-2018 was made by Councilman Dan Pearson and seconded by Councilman Don
Vincent. Poll of the Board was Aye.
Vouchers were passed around the
table and all were approved and signed by the Board. A motion to accept the vouchers was made by
Councilman Bob Amidon and seconded by Don Vincent.
A motion to adjourn the meeting at
6:55pm by Councilman Bob Amidon and seconded by Councilman Dan Pearson.
