Clerk's report was not ready due to the early scheduling of the meeting.

Financial report discrepancies for previous months has been cleared up. Financial report for September

was accepted by motion from Ed that was seconded by Bob.

Justice's report wits given to the board and accepted by motion Bob, seconded by Jack.

A motion from Ed that was seconded by Jack dispensed with the reading of the minutes

Superintendent, John. Goutermout, spoke again about the plowing of Merrill' s hill on the Pinckney Rd.

Hopefully the town of Rutland will be doing it. P4 is back on the road. A used fuel injector for $150.00 was

purchased from Terry Groff and the truck is running good. The culvert pipe behind the barn has been

cleaned out and the drain at the town hall is now working. Brown and Son is coming to check out the

furnaces at the hall and barn for the winter.

When Griffith Oil filled the tanks at the barn a 150 gallon discrepancy was noted in usage. Locks have

been placed on the tanks.

Resolution 361 to adopt the 2010 budget was presented. Ed motioned to accept and Bob seconded the

motion. All board members present voted yes to accept and resolution passed. No nay votes were voiced

Sherry told the board that Cliff Cook has moved out of the Humane Society's facility. The towns of

Watson and New Bremen supplied equipment and our town supplied manpower to help clean debris out the

building.

Ed spoke to the board about the incident of mowed off trees on the Jan McIntosh property. He feels the

town should write a letter of apology to Mr. Mclntosh. He is also concerned about liability this winter if

snowmobilers hit the stumps left. Sherry will contact our lawyer about our rights and see to the letter. Ed

said that he would speak with Mr. Mclntosh again this weekend.

Vouchers in the amounts of'S 1,878.90(Gen) and $7,371.44(High) were presented and signed. Ed

motioned to accept the vouchers and Bob seconded the motion.

The board is irate over the cost of repairs tothe new tractor and mower shared with the towns ofH.arrisburg and Montague. Nearly $2,000.00 had to be

paid out for parts to repair it because it was used improperly, more like a brush hog than a mower, by the

person doing the mowing. The board would like to see each town hire their own driver.

Jack motioned to adjourn, Bob seconded and the meeting closed at 7:36 p.m.

Respectfully submitted by Susan C. Townsend, Clerk
